📢 FAFSA DAY – Friday, January 17, 2025! 📢 Attention Seniors and Parents/Guardians! Join us for FAFSA Day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wyoming East High School. This is a fantastic opportunity to get one-on-one assistance from financial aid experts to complete your FAFSA! What to Bring: ✅ 2023 Income Tax Returns (for both student and parent) ✅ Student and Parent Emails ✅ Student and Parent FSA IDs ✅ Social Security Numbers 📍Important Reminder:📍 Be sure to set up your FSA ID 3-5 days before FAFSA Day so you’re ready to go! Both students and parents/guardians will need their own FSA ID. If you need help creating your FSA ID, please see Mrs. Harold in the counselor’s office.

Way to go East! 💚💚📣 🏐 History has been made! The Wyoming East Lady Warriors Volleyball team has qualified for the state tournament for the first time in school history! To support and celebrate this incredible accomplishment, there will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 12, for Wyoming East, Pineville Elementary, Pineville Middle, Herndon Consolidated, Mullens Elementary, Mullens Middle, and Glen Fork. This will give our students the opportunity to attend the tournament, cheer on their team, and be part of this historic moment. 🌟 Huge shoutout to our talented students, Gracie Bower and Kylie Simmons, for their incredible performances at the Board of Education meeting! 🌟 Gracie captivated us all with her beautifully written original song, showcasing her amazing voice and guitar skills, while Kylie performed a graceful ballet that left everyone in awe. Their performances set a wonderful tone for the evening just before our LSIC presentation. We’re so proud of these talented young women for representing our school with such grace and creativity! 🎶💃

High School Students will be 25 minutes late. Elementary and Middle School Students will be 25-40 minutes late.

Friday, October 25, 2024. Wyoming East High School. Pineville Elementary School. Pineville Middle School. Bus 375, Dave, Keyrock will not be running this evening. Parents will need to meet the bus at the mouth of KeyRock or Rock Castle Baptist Church. Bus 154 will be bringing those students. Bus 154 will run through Bowmans Bottom High School Run, meet at 3:15pm. Elementary and Middle Run, meet at 3:55pm.

Help Us Keep Our Students Warm This Winter! As the cold weather approaches, we’re looking to fill our donations box with warm clothing for students in need. We’re accepting new coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and sweaters of all sizes. Your generosity will make a huge difference in ensuring every student stays warm and focused on their education. Donations can be dropped off at Wyoming East until November 30th. Let’s come together to support our community! Thank you for your kindness!

Due to the power being out at Herndon Consolidated, Herndon Consolidated ONLY will be closed on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. All other schools will be back on regular schedule.

Due to continued power outages, issues with phone lines, downed trees, and storm damage- Wyoming County Schools will be closed Monday, September 30, 2024.
