Wyoming East High School

Wyoming County Schools invites all citizens of Wyoming County to attend Community Meetings regarding the upcoming Wyoming County Schools Facilities Bond Election.   The goal of the Facilities Bond is to provide substantial improvements to the school facilities in our county.    The Community Meetings will be held Monday, October 10, beginning at 6:00, at Wyoming East High School in New Richmond and Tuesday, October 11, beginning at 6:00, at Westside High School in Clearfork.   WyCo Schools will share information and field questions about the upcoming Wyoming County Schools Facilities Bond which will be on the ballot on November 8. We encourage the public to attend one or both of the meetings.    We hope you will be able to attend.  Please call the BOE Office at 304-732-6262, extension 1101, if you have questions.  Thank you!

Reminder! Wyoming East High School and Feeder Schools- The WEHS Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Thursday, October 6. Lineup and parade route details are provided on the flyer below. To encourage and promote community participation, ALL Wyoming East students and feeder schools will have a 3- hour early dismissal on Thursday, October 6. This includes- Herndon Consolidated, Glen Fork Elementary and Middle, Mullens Elementary and Mullens Middle, Pineville Elementary and Pineville Middle, Wyoming East High school. If you have questions, contact your administrator.

Wyoming East is putting a team together for the WV Envirothon contest, and Emma Dodson and Logan Oliver, AP Env. Sci. and Friends of the Earth members, attended the full day training with Mrs. Bauer. They practiced stream monitoring, soil analysis, forestry skills, and wildlife ID. The five member team will be training for the next 7 months to compete against other WV teams at Cacapon State Park.  #WarriorProud
