Wyoming County Schools Facilities Bond projects are moving forward. Groundbreaking Ceremonies will take place on May 21
@ 9:00 for the Westside High School Practice Gym, (Westside High School)
@ 12:00 for the Career Center Auditorium, (CTC)
@ 2:00 for the New Mullens PK-8 School (Building Site - Old Mullens Ball field).
We invite the public to attend these Groundbreaking Ceremonies for these projects funded by the citizens of Wyoming County.The Wyoming County School System is very grateful!🙌🏼

Congratulations to Westside High School's Maria Morgan and Wyoming East High School's Piper Cook on being named Yeager Scholars by Marshall University.💚🖤
The Society of Yeager Scholars provides 8 students in the nation with a full academic scholarship, a study abroad experience, and an additional study abroad experience at Oxford University in England.
To qualify, applicants must have a wide breadth of creative and intellectual strengths, a record of notable and dynamic extracurricular community contributions, and an active demonstration of leadership both inside and outside of the classroom.
Out of thousands of applicants nationwide, it is incredible that 2 scholars were selected from Wyoming County Schools! We are so proud of both Piper and Maria, and cannot wait to see how they excel in this new chapter. Congratulations on a remarkable achievement!👏🏼

The annual conference engages and sustains a community for ceramic art, teaching and learning by working to cultivate the next generation of ceramic artists and enthusiasts through programing that benefits professional artists, K-12 schools, community centers and universities!

Every year the WV Statewide Independent Living Council, the WV Division of Rehabilitation Services, and the State Rehabilitation Council invite all WV High School Seniors to participate in the WV Disability History Essay Contest that coincides with Disability History week in all WV public schools. This year Wyoming County East High School Senior Piper Cook is district 5, 2nd place winner and will receive an engraved keychain and a check for $1,000.👏🏼💚🖤
