Wyoming East’s Friends of the Earth club presented ways to reduce plastic pollution to Pineville Elementary’s 3rd & 4th graders. The elementary students are now recycling experts, and they are finishing their “Together Totes” in class tomorrow so that they can skip using a plastic bag. After learning about microplastics and what can be recycled at East, they cleaned up the litter at Palisades Park.
