The WV Department of Education and Homeland Security have made all school systems in WV aware that there is a series of FAKE calls claiming active shooter situations in some WV schools. Again, these calls have been shown as FAKE and are coming to 911 Centers.
To this minute we have NOT received a call regarding any Wyoming County School. We are working as a TEAM in WyCo with Emergency Management and Law Enforcement to take every single threat seriously, so if there is a call to our 911, it will be taken seriously and addressed fully.
We want to make families aware of this situation so that you have all information. As always, we will do everything in our power to keep our students safe. We cherish our children!
Hope they catch these folks making these calls! Thank you all and call your child’s school or the Central office with questions. WyCo together for children.
Wyoming East High School seniors visited West Virginia University of Technology for a tour of the facilities and met with first-hand sources about the college application process and college life.🎓🖤💚

Bus 187, Will, Welch Road, Indian Creek will not be running this evening!
Bus 213 will be bringing the High School Students home. They will be about 20 minutes late.
Bus 213 will be bringing home the Elementary and Middle School Students also. Bus 213 will start on Welch Pineville Road at 4:20pm!
♻️💚It’s National Recycling Day! 💚♻️Wyoming East’s Friends of the Earth club thanked all of the staff for helping our recycling program by stocking the lounges with their favorite beverages! WE thank you for recycling in your rooms, offices, and at your homes.
Recycling fact of the day: Aluminum is created from mining bauxite, a non-renewable resource. One ton of recycled aluminum saves 40 barrels of oil! #WarriorProud

GlenFork Elementary and Middle School:
Bus 122 will start picking up students that ride bus 212 beginning at 8:25am.
PM Runs:
GlenFork Elementary and Middle School.
Bus 122 will be delivering students in Left Fork, Right Fork, Sabine, Ravencliff, then to Oceana.
Students from the Oceana area may be 30 minutes late.
