Wyoming East competed against 29 teams from across the state in their first Envirothon competition hosted by the West Virginia Conservation Agency at Cacapon State Park.
🏆🌎🏆WE tied for 7th in aquatics and 8th for our 5th topic presentation on climate change!
Students complete one hour assessments in each of the following areas: watershed management (aquatics), soil sciences, wildlife management, forestry, and develop a presentation on a 5th environmental topic. WE are so proud of their first year results!!! #wvca #wvenvirothon #conservation

Travel back 4.6 billion years ago with Wyoming East Earth & Space and Biology students’ geologic time scale models using 16 layers of pancakes! The colored batter represented the different eras, and the ingredients represented the major fossils that emerged in each time period. From nerds to gummy sharks, only the most adventurous decided to dig in with a bite. Student reflections gave this lab a 10 out of 10! #WarriorProud

ATTENTION! On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, all Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Mandatory Countywide Lockdown/Shelter in place drill.
The Lockdown/Shelter in place shall be held between 9-9:30am Tuesday morning.
It’s mandatory that all school personnel participate in the drill. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!
The goal of the drill is preparedness to keep our students and staff safe under any circumstances. We love our children! We love our school employees! We pray this preparedness is never needed.♥️
