Due to pending forecast of timing from the National Weather Service and weather briefs from the National Weather Service, out of abundance of caution, Wyoming County Schools will be closed on Monday, December 8, 2025. Yesterday, with the help of Wyoming East’s Student Government Association, our Warriors came together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸 Students led heartfelt prayers, recited moving poems, delivered powerful messages about service, and sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. A solemn flag-folding demonstration reminded everyone of the deep meaning behind each fold. Our art classes created the patriotic decorations displayed throughout the school, advisory classes made heartfelt cards, and our journalism students produced a special video tribute to our veterans. We were honored to have several veterans join us for this special program—their presence made the day truly meaningful. Happy Veterans Day!
