In support of our Wyoming East Warriors as they head to GoMart Park in Charleston for the State Baseball Tournament, Wyoming East High School and the following feeder schools will be releasing 3 hours early on Thursday, June 5 to allow students, staff, and families the opportunity to attend the game:

Glen Fork students have worked to earn Tiger Tokens as part of our PBIS program this year! Students earned tokens by demonstrating positive behaviors and showing their ROAR..Respect, Ownership, Attitude, and Responsibility! Students used tokens to purchase things from the ROAR Store. The classes joined together gathering 1000 tokens to purchase a school-wide reward trip to the Bowling Alley! Their hard work really paid off!! They had a GREAT time!!

Glen Fork celebrated the students who had perfect attendance or had only missed a couple days. They have worked so hard this year to be at school so we wanted to celebrate big!! Students were treated to a day out in Charleston! They enjoyed a nice lunch at Olive Garden and finished up with Ice Skating. The kids had a GREAT time! Thank you to Mrs. Warrix and Mrs. Reed for taking them on this awesome trip! We also want to thank Southridge Olive Garden and South Charleston Ice Rink for helping us make this day happen!

Glen Fork’s 8th grade students had a GREAT trip to the Greenbrier Resort Bunker! We learned so much about the history of the resort and the purpose of creating the bunker as we toured the facility! It was an awesome learning experience for the students and chaperones!

Students from East and West made a final walk down the halls where it all began….Glen Fork! Before they left, we celebrated together with cupcakes and one more hallway dance party! Glen Fork celebrated our Teachers and Teacher’s Aides this week with a variety of little treats. We wrapped up today by thanking them for always being our “Moo-tivation” with some Chick-Fil-A for lunch! We are so grateful for all they do!

Glen Fork had a GREAT day celebrating National Pet Day!! Students brought stuff animals or pictures of their pets to share with their classmates. To make the day a little better, we had special pet visitors throughout the day who stopped by the classrooms to bring a little cheer while we worked! What a fun day at Glen Fork!!

Glen Fork 4th grade students are ready to compete in March Madness Multiplication Tournament!! Students compete in head to head competition solving two digit multiplication problems to earn points. In each round, the student with the most points moves on to the next round. They even took time to create their own team logos! What a GREAT way to practice our multiplication skills! Glen Fork 8th grade students teamed up for a challenge during their rotation class. All teams were given the same resources to see who could create the tallest tower. What a GREAT team building activity!! Congratulations to Seth Bishop and Hannah Dempsey for using their creativity to win the challenge!

Glen Fork had a GREAT visit from the nursing students at the WCCTC. In collaboration with our CIS, Mrs. Warrix, and our counselor, Mrs. Reed, presentations were made in each class about dental hygiene, hygiene, hand washing and more. They also provided a supply of hygiene products and femine supplies that will be utilized throughout the rest of the year. We are so thankful for the visit and the support from our awesome WCCTC Nursing students!

In order to provide our students with the opportunity to experience a historic moment in Charleston, we will not have school tomorrow, March 20, 2025, as we take pep buses to support our athletes on this incredible journey!
Thanks to the incredible support of our community and the passage of the excess levy, pep buses are FREE for students! Let’s pack the stands and show our unwavering support!
